Czech audiences only rarely get the chance to hear the music by Franco-Flemish renaissance masters such as Johannes Tinctoris, Jacobus Barbireau and Johannes Regis. The protagonists of the evening, the renowned Hungarian vocal ensemble A:N:S ChorusJános Bali not only celebrated the beauty of the intricate polyphonic compositions and the local variants of the Gregorian Chant, but also revealed the connections of the aforementioned authors to the court of the Hungarian and Croatian King Matthias Corvinus with their leader.
